Rishi Sunak this week launched a ten-point plan to help beleaguered dairy farmers hit by the low price of milk. The plan follows his fact-finding tour of Wensleydale talking to farmers trying to cope with the crisis and last week’s emergency meeting of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs select committee of which Mr Sunak is a member.

A NEW business network has been launched in Wensleydale – with Rishi's support. The Leyburn and Mid-Wensleydale Business Association has changed its name to the Lower Wensleydale Business Network and now includes the Bedale area.
