Rishi Sunak MP fielded questions at a village debate held in Seamer, near Stokesley.
About thirty residents attended the event in the village hall to put questions to their Westminster representative.
Subjects covered included traveller sites, broadband, the persecution of birds of prey, fly-tipping, bovine TB and badger culls, Government spending in the North and across the UK.
Mr Sunak said: "It was a wide-ranging and stimulating debate which I thoroughly enjoyed."
He thanked parish councillors Phil Taylor and Walter Pattison MBE for organising the evening.
