Rishi took a break from the election campaign trail to visit Great Ayton Summer Fete.
A regular attender at the popular event on the High Green, he dropped by many of the stalls where local groups and charities were raising awareness and funds.
He visited the stalls run by Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team, the Scouts, Guides and Trefoil Guild, the Great Ayton Town Twinning Association and the Bradley School of Dance and Musical Theatre.
He tried his hand at the Splat the Rat game run by the Roseberry Academy Parents and Friends. He also congratulated the Great Ayton Allotments on reaching their successful fundraising efforts with the aim of purchasing the village’s allotments.
Rishi said: “This is a fantastic village event, superbly organised by the parish council. It was great to be able to support the good causes who helped make the fete such a success.”
Ron Kirk, chair of the parish council, said: “It was lovely to have Rishi attend the fete once more. The event was the biggest and best we have organised and run over two days. It was good to have his support again.”
