Rishi Sunak was among those paying their respects at Northallerton's Remembrance Sunday service and parade.
There was one of the biggest turnouts in recent years for the service in a packed, standing-room only All Saints' Parish Church, the Act of Remembrance and then the parade down the High Street.
During the Act of Remembrance at town war memorial, wreaths laid by Rishi Sunak, the Mayor of Northallerton Cllr Claire Palmer, and the Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire Jo Ropner. John Hyde, father of murdered Northallerton military policeman Ben Hyde, laid a wreath on behalf of the Royal Military Police Association.
The parade down High Street was led by RAF Leeming personnel and representatives of Army and RAF cadets and the town's youth organisation (Scouts etc). Northallerton Silver Band played in parade.
There was also a flypast by three Hawk jets of 100 Sqn RAF Leeming.
